Drug trafficker assets seized in Puglia

(ANSA) - Lecce, April 20 - Italian police on Monday seized 600 million euros in assets from a convicted drug trafficker in the southeastern Italian region of Puglia.
    The seizure of property and goods was ordered after a probe determined that the lifestyle of the man, Giuseppino Mero, 51, was much more lavish than his extremely small tax returns indicated.
