(ANSA) - Albisola Superiore, March 30 - Authorities on
Monday announced an evacuation plan for 10,000 residents in
three small towns near Savona on April 9 in order to defuse a
WWII-era bomb containing 180 kg of TNT.
Motorways and railways will be closed for three hours and
residents will be evacuated in two stages while experts work to
remove the bomb, which was found buried in the ground outside a
home in the town of Albisola.
