(ANSA) - Rome, March 26 - Italian astronaut Samantha
Cristoforetti on Thursday tweeted her support of Earth Hour, a
World Wildlife Fund mobilization against climate change that
calls for everyone around the world to turn their lights off on
Saturday from 20:30 to 21:30.
"Join us at #EarthHour," Italy's first female astronaut
tweeted from the European Space Station, adding a photo of
herself holding a sign that says "Change climate change".
On Saturday March 26, lights will turn off around the globe
and across time zones in a symbolic gesture against climate
change.
