(ANSA) - Arezzo, March 3 - A Romanian sex worker told police Tuesday she had sex repeatedly with a Congolese friar who is under investigation in connection with the disappearance of an Italian woman who vanished in May.
As police hunted for the missing woman, Guerrina Piscaglia from Badia Tedalda in Arezzo province, the prostitute was quoted as telling Carabinieri paramilitary police that Father Gratien Alabi paid her 500 euros for her services.
Fr. Alabi was placed under investigation after telling a television show about missing people that Piscaglia had told him she was pregnant and that he was the father. Fr. Alabi denies having had sex with Piscaglia.
