(ANSA) - Belluno, January 29 - Prosecutors have opened a
probe into an incident in which two men were videotaped while
extracting a mentally disabled man's tooth with pliers and no
sedation, sources said Thursday.
Members of the public reported the video to authorities
after it went viral on Whatsapp.
The incident reportedly took place weeks ago in a
volunteer fire station in a village near the city of Belluno in
the northeastern Veneto region.
Belluno prosecutors are investigating on possible charges
of aggravated bodily harm, local media reported.
