(ANSA) - Terni, January 27 - A 54-year-old man was
hospitalized for observation Tuesday after he was attacked by a
wild boar while taking his grandson to kindergarten.
The man sustained bruises in the encounter in the Umbrian
town of Arrone near Terni.
The boar fled the scene and forestry workers were said to
be watching the area, with plans to continue Wednesday morning
during school hours.
The kindergarten is near a green area along the Nera River
in the town.
