(ANSA) - Florence, January 23 - An earthquake measuring
about 4.3 shook parts of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna Friday
morning in an area along the Apennine mountains.
The strongest tremor was felt in the provinces of Bologna
and Prato at about 7:51 a.m. local time.
The national institute that measures earthquakes said that
a series of about 19 shocks were felt throughout the morning,
some with a magnitude as high as 4.1 while others measured
between 2.0 and 2.7.
