(ANSA) - Rome, January 22 - Police on Thursday arrested 32
people on suspicion of mafia crimes including extortion and
attempted murder.
The suspects, arrested in the province of Foggia in the
southern Puglia region and in other parts of Italy, also face
possible charges of drug trafficking, illegal possession of
weapons, robbery, receipt of stolen goods and damage among other
alleged offenses.
