Thieves torch vehicles on busy highway

(ANSA) - Milan, November 27 - Police say thieves torched a large truck and other vehicles on a busy highway in northern Italy Thursday morning in a failed attempt to rob an armoured car. Traffic was blocked between Lodi and Piacenza as police began the hunt for the robbers and firemen fought the blazes.
    Police say they hope highway surveillance cameras will help them to track the culprits. No injuries were reported.
