(ANSA) - Washington, October 22 - Legendary Washington Post
editor Benjamin Bradlee died in his home at age 93, the
Washington Post reported Wednesday.
Bradlee presided over the Washington Post for 26 years, over
a period that included the paper's famed and daring coverage of
the Watergate scandal, which led to President Richard Nixon's
resignation in 1974.
Bradlee died in his home Tuesday after suffering
Alzheimer's disease for many years.
