(ANSA) - Catania, October 2 - The Catania flying squad on
Thursday apprehended fugitive crime boss Sebastiano Brunno, who
was sentenced to life and had been on the lam since 2009.
Brunno, 56, headed the Nardo clan of the Sicilian Cosa
Nostra mafia, and led a bloody mafia feud in the early 1990s.
He was arrested on the island of Malta, police said.
