(ANSA) - Benevento, September 16 - A 52-year-old man stabbed
his wife to death and then tried to commit suicide with a razor
on Tuesday, ANSA sources said.
Sources say that the couple, Pasquale Mastroianni and Elvira
Ciampi, 49 years old, was going through a separation.
Mastroianni is in critical but not life-threatening
condition in hospital.
Mastroianni's 17-year-old daughter called authorities to
report the killing.
