(ANSA) - Rome, September 8 - Former premier Silvio
Berlusconi has been suffering from a case of uveitis, or
irritation of the eye, sources said Monday.
This is a recurrence of an infection in his left eye that
prevented him attending a hearing in a Milan trial for having
sex with an alleged underage prostitute known as Ruby last year.
Berlusconi was later acquitted of those charges.
