Festival of Italian Food to feature top chefs

Celebration of national cuisine a three-day event

(ANSA) - Rimini, August 29 - The 14th Festival of Italian Food, from September 5-7 in Rimini, will feature big names in the world of Italian chefs, including Gualtiero Marchesi, Gianfranco Vissani, Carlo Cracco, and Gino Angelini.
    The National Galvanina Prize will be awarded on September 7 to Gualtiero Marchesi in the culture category, Carlo Cracco for Best Chef 2014, Fede and Tinto of Rai Uno and Decanter in the journalism category, and Lorenzo Ercole of the Fratelli Saclà company for Best Businessman 2014.
    The festival, free to the public, will be set in Rimini's Parco Terme Galvanina.
    The park's thermal springs will be opened for the occasion so the public can freely consume its drinking water, renowned as a digestive aid.
