(ANSA) - Rome, August 21 - Three workers were injured, at least one seriously, in an explosion in a manhole where the trio were working in central Rome on Thursday.
Early reports said the three were working on plumbing repairs when a broken light fixture triggered a gas explosion.
The three were working for a contractor hired by energy provider ACEA.
