Pensioner in 50 year tax evasion scam

(ANSA) - Turin, July 22 - Finance police on Tuesday seized shares worth around 110 million euros from a Turin pensioner accused of evading the Italian taxman for over 50 years.
    Investigators say the former businessman, who remains unnamed, carried out a series of sophisticated financial operations to create a large off-shore capital which he then brought back into the country under tax amnesties in 2003 and 2009.
