Italy increasing tax on cigarettes

(ANSA) Rome, July 3 - Taxes on cigarettes are expected to increase by some 20 Euro cents for more expensive brands and 10 cents for cheaper packs, official sources said Thursday A decree law promulgating the increase is expected to be presented to Premier Matteo Renzi's cabinet for approval next Thursday.
    The tax increase is expected to be lower for electronic cigarettes, the sources said.
