For 'incomplete product delivery and obstacles to complaints'

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 28 - Italy's antitrust authority on Thursday fined furniture chain Mondo Convenienza 3.2 million euro for allegedly incomplete product delivery and obstacles to complaints.
The authority imposed the fine on Iris Mobili S.r.l., owner of the Mondo Convenienza brand, saying that it allegedly "adopted unlawful conduct in the delivery and assembly phases of furniture and furnishings and hindered consumers in the use of after-sales services." Further, although it was allegedly "aware of the high number of deliveries of products that were not complete and did not correspond to the orders or were not in perfect conditions of use, the company did not adopt appropriate behaviour to solve these problems".
Mondo Convenienza denied the charges. (ANSA).
