Mattarella signs Messina Bridge project, in GU

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 31 - President Sergio Mattarella has signed a decree to build a bridge across the Messina Strait between Calabria and Sicily and the scheme has now been published in the Official Gazette (GU), sources said Friday.
    The 10-billion-euro project was recently revived by Transport Minister Matteo Salvini despite environmental, seismic and mafia infiltration fears.
    The government says it will create a host of Green jobs. (ANSA).
