Gas bills to fall 34.2% in Jan

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 2 - Gas bills for January for a median Italian household will fall by an average 34.2% on December, regulator ARERA said Thursday.
    This follows a 23.2% hike in December over November, it said.
    The median expenditure on gas for an average household in Italy was 36% up at around 1,769 euros between February 2022 and January 2023 on the same period a year previously, ARERA said.
