Stellantis in air taxi deal with Archer

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 4 - Stellantis on Wednesday sealed an air taxi deal with US start-up company Archer Aviation Inc.
    The carmaker agreed to produce an aircraft designed by Archer and to give the start-up 150 million dollars to accelerate production.
    The vertical take off and landing craft called Midnight will be built in a new plant at Covington in Georgia.
    The strengthening of the partnership with Archer shows that Stellantis "is pushing the envelope to offer free and sustainable mobility, from the street to the sky", it said.
