Lagarde wishes Meloni well on Italy economy

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 28 - European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde on Monday wished Premier Giorgia Meloni well in her stewardship of the Italian economy as the country's first woman prime minister.
    "I find it appropriate and timely that Italy has for the first time a female prime minister and I wish her all the best in her effort to effectively lead the Italian economy", said the former International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director. (ANSA).
