(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - Italy is top in the European Union for jobless people who are not actively seeking work, Eurostat said Friday.
Italy's 2021 rate for such people is 11.8% compared to an eurozone average of 4.1% and 3.7% in the entire EU, said the stats agency.
Italy is second in the EU for unmet job demand at 22.8%, behind Spain on 24.1% and followed closely by Greece. (ANSA).
