(ANSA) - ROME, APR 4 - ISTAT on Monday cut its nominal growth
estimate for last year from 7.5% to 7.2% due to the knock-on
effect of spiraling gas prices.
It said Italian GDP at market prices was 1,775,436 million euros
last year, 7.2% over 2020.
Its previous nominal estimate for 2021 growth was 1,781,221
milion euros, 7.5% above 2020.
The stats agency recently said its 2021 growth figures would be
adjusted due to the process of revision "of the import data for
natural gas from July to December 2021%. (ANSA).
