Expo Dubai: AICE organizes mission by 20 firms

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 9 - The Italian Foreign Trade Association, AICE, has organized a business mission to Expo 2020 Dubai by 20 Italian firms belonging to retail group Confcommercio.
    The trip has also been laid on by Confcommercio's young entrepreneurs and the Lombardy branch of the retail group.
    Imports, exports and innovation are the bywords for the mission, AICE said.
    The 20 firms selected, a statement said, "represent the excellence of young businesspeople in the advanced tertiary sector and operate in the following sectors: food and beverage, automotive, clothing, marketing and business communication, e-commerce and digital marketing, sustainability and logistics".
    The delegation will visit customs-free zones, wholesale centres, and shopping malls, and will meet with local organizations able to furnish support to the participating Italian firms, with the aim of identifying new business opportunities.
    Furthermore, on March 15, at Innovation House in Dubai, there will be the networking event "Lombardy: the Italian Hub for Innovation and International Trade", at which Lombardy will be presented to the local business community. (ANSA).
