Consumer confidence down in Feb, business confidence up

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 25 - Consumer confidence is estimated to have fallen from 114.2 to 112.4 in February, while business confidence is up from 105.3 to 108.2, ISTAT said Friday.
    Business confidence has started rising again after a steep drop in January, the stats agency said.
    The recovery is due to a "widespread improvement" in confidence in the service and construction sectors, above all, ISTAT said.
    Consumer confidence, on the other hand, has fallen for the second straight month registering its lowest level since May 2021, due to a worsening of judgements on the general and personal economic situation by Italian households. (ANSA).
