(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 15 - The number of those in employment in
Italy rose 0.3% to 25,630,000 in 2020 over 2019, pensions and
social security agency INPS said Wednesday.
Average annual income from work fell by 6.0%, the agency said.
The annual average of weeks worked fell from 40.2 in 2019 to
42.9 in 2020, INPS said.
The number of those in employment in 2020 was 2.3% higher than
in 2015. (ANSA).
