(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 20 - Former interior and labour minister
Roberto Maroni, a former leader of the rightwing League party,
was on Wednesday named chair of a new government panel against
gangmastering and exploitation of farm workers.
Announcing the appointment, Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese
said Maroni, 66, had been chosen for his experience as a former
two-time minister and deputy premier. (ANSA).
