Relaunch decree passed into law

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 16 - The government's coronavirus 'relaunch decree' was passed into law by the Senate on Thursday.
    The package contains 55 billion euros of measures to ease the economic fallout of the COVID crisis on businesses, the self-employed, payroll workers, households and the voluntary sector.
    It is a main plank of the government's response to the economic earthquake triggered by the coronavirus health emergency.
    The decree was approved by the House on July 9 and was due to expire on Saturday.
    It became law after the Upper House confirmed confidence in the government by 159 votes to 121 with no abstentions. (ANSA).
