PSBR up 62 bn in 6 mts

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 1 - Italy's public sector borrowing requirement rose by around 62 billion euros in the first half of the year due to the COVID-19 emergency, the economy ministry said Wednesday.
    In June alone the PSBR was 21 billion, largely due to a sharp contraction in tax revenue.
    The coronavirus emergency has hit all sectors of the Italian economy. (ANSA).
