(ANSA) - Rome, April 2 - There was a "devastating" 16.6% drop in industrial production in March, the worst ever, employers group Confindustria said Thursday.
The drop in the first quarter was 5.4%, the sharpest in 11 years, it said.
Prospects are of "strong worsening", it said.
