(ANSA) - Rome, May 17 - The Italian Competition Authority
(ICA) said Friday that it has opened proceedings into Google for
alleged abuse of its dominant market position.
It said Google has a dominant position in the smart device
operating system market via Android.
The Internet giant is suspected of having abused this
position in its refusal to integrate 'Enel X Recharge', an app
developed by Enel for information and services regarding the
charging of electric-car batteries, into its Android Auto
environment.
