(ANSA) - Milan, March 11 - Vodafone Italia on Monday started
talks with trade unions on 1,130 redundancies "in all company
functions", it said in a statement.
Vodafone also presented its business plan.
It said the talks would be aimed at "sharing a comprehensive
redefinition of the operational model and the consequent
reduction of the organisational perimeter equal to 1,130 units
belonging to all company functions".
Vodafone voiced the hope the talks would be "constructive
with the mutual aim and commitment to identify as soon as
possible sustainable solutions for the persons and the company."
