(ANSA) - Milan, February 21 - Traditional rivals TIM and
Vodafone are to start a partnership to share the active
component of the 5G network, weigh the sharing of the active
apparatus of the 4G network and broaden their current accord of
passive sharing," a statement said Thursday.
They are also weighing bringing into a single entity their
respective passive infrastructure, for a total of 22,000 towers
in Italy.
