(ANSA) - Davos, January 23 - Italy will respect budget
parameters agreed with the EU and a supplementary budget won't
be needed, Economy Minister Giovanni Tria said in an interview
with Reuters in Davos Wednesday.
"Italy will hit the deficit goal (of 2.04%) in 2019 and we
won't need a supplementary budget," he said.
Asked if a diplomatic spat with France on alleged
neocolonialism in Africa would affect Alitalia and Fincantieri
deals with Air France and STX, Tria said he hoped the tension
was "decreasing".
