Inflation hits poorer households hardest

(ANSA) - Rome, January 16 - Inflation in 2018 hit the least well-off Italian households the hardest, ISTAT said Wednesday.
    For the 20% of families with the lowest spending capacity, inflation rose by up to 1.5%, compared to 1.4% in 2017, the statistics agency said.
    The best-off households had an inflation rate of 1.1%, down from 1.3% in 2017, ISTAT said.
