(ANSA) - Rome, October 30 - Lufthansa said Tuesday a
partnership with Alitalia "is still possible" but it "does not
plan to invest in the company together with the government".
The government intends to take a stake in Alitalia to turn it
back into a flag carrier along with Ferrovie dello Stato (FS),
which will make a key investment.
The government's plans may fall foul of EU State aid rules.
