(ANSA) - Rome, October 23 - The draft budget spans VAT
clauses, a basic income, an IRES tax cut, flat tax for the
self-employed, a basic income, for which nine billion euros are
earmarked, the renewal of a house bonus, civil service hirings
and a section for the Genoa bridge disaster.
There are also boosted income from 5G contracts and a hike in
cigarette duty.
It also sets aside 6.7 billion euros for a pension reform
overhaul in 2019.
The budget also contains another hike on gambling duties.
The RAI State broadcaster license fee of 90 euros was
extended.
