(ANSA) - Rome, October 18 - The spread between Italian and
German 10-year bond yields hit a new five-year high of 326
points on Thursday, with a yield of 3.68%.
The spread has last been that high in March 2013.
The yield has last been that high in February 2014.
The spread, a gauge of investor confidence in Italian debt,
has risen amid EU budget strictures.
