(ANSA) - Rome, October 16 - Industrial turnover rose 1.2% in
August over July and orders were 4.9% up after both falling in
July, ISTAT said Tuesday.
"The biggest contribution to the growth derives from foreign
sales which registered one of the biggest variations since the
start of the year, up 3.1% on the month and up 7% on the year,"
the statistics agency said.
On an annual basis, turnover was 3.2% up and orders up 0.9%.
