FS says may weigh Alitalia plan if asked

(ANSA) - Berlin, September 18 - Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) CEO Gianfranco Battisti said Tuesday the rail company might consider taking part in airline Alitalia's next business plan if it were asked to do so.
    "We are an open company, that looks to the future, and in that sense if we were asked for a commitment to assess an industrial plan that could make an aeronautical business sustainable, why shouldn't we assess it?" he said.
    Italian post office (Poste Italiane) CEO Matteo Del Fante meanwhile said "we have not had any kind of interest in the Alitalia dossier, so I'm reading that in the press".
