(ANSA) - Rome, September 5 - The spread between Italy's
10-year BTP bond and the German Bund dropped to 256 basis points
in early trading on Wednesday.
The yield on the BTP fell below the 3% mark and slid to 2.94%
- the lowest in two weeks - as investors responded to
reassurances on the government's spending plans.
