488,000 jobs created in 2017 (3)

(ANSA) - Rome, February 22 - Some 488,000 new jobs were created in 2017 but most of them were on temporary contracts, pensions and social security agency INPS said Thursday.
    The balance for steady jobs was -117,000, +58,000 for apprenticeships, +10,000 for seasonal contracts and, above all, +537,000 for term contracts, it said.
    There was an increasing fall in steady contracts, which amounted to only 23.2% of the total contracts, INPS said.
