Politics must decide says Tajani

(ANSA) - Rome, November 9 - European Parliament President Antonio Tajani said Thursday that "politics must decide, not technocrats", speaking at a conference on Brexit.
    He added that his recent statement to the European Central Bank on non-performing loans had been a "political intervention, not a technical one". He said the ECB's oversight body should respect the competence of the European Parliament.
