Generali 9-month profits 1.463 bn (2)

(ANSA) - Milan, November 9 - Italian insurance giant Generali said Thursday that it registered a net profit of 1.463 billion euros for the first nine months of 2017, down 9.9% on the same period in 2016. It said this reflected discontinued operations of 253 million euros, including the impairment of Dutch operations plus the profit for the period deriving from said activities.
    It said its operating result was stable at 3,620 billion euros.
