(ANSA) - Milan, October 17 - Moody's said Tuesday that it
has maintained its negative outlook for the Italian banking
system.
The ratings agency cited ongoing balance-sheet fragility and
increasing pressure for lenders to reduce their large stock of
problem loans amid limited prospects for raising new capital.
