(ANSA) - Rome, July 24 - Italy's housing market returned to
positive territory in the first quarter of 2017, with 169,527
property sales being registered, a rise of 1.8% with respect to
the previous three months, ISTAT said Monday.
Sales had dropped 2.2% in the previous quarter.
The national statistics agency said property sales were up
6.5% in the first quarter with respect to the same period in
2016.
