(ANSA) - Rome, January 18 - Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS)
is working to offload its non-performing loans (NPLs) "en bloc",
CEO Marco Morelli told the Senate Wednesday.
Morelli added that MPS wanted to "restart without penalising
the workforce", on a plan "shared" with the authorities, and
that an outflow of deposits had been "completely halted".
