(ANSA) - Milan, December 7 - The Milan bourse rose 2.1%
Wednesday as banking stocks soared led by MPS and UniCredit, up
10.79%, and 9.42% respectively, with the market betting on a
solution for the troubled Tuscan lender and amid expectations
that Thursday's European Central Bank meeting will see an
extension of its quantitative easing programme.
