EPA chief says carmaker needs to spend $5.1 billion to comply

(ANSA) - Milan, September 27 - The stock of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) came under pressure on the Milan stock exchange on Tuesday after Chris Grundler, the head of the U.S.
    Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), was quoted by Bloomberg as saying the carmaker needed to spend $5.1 billion to comply with American fuel economy standards for 2025.
    FCA's share price was 3% down after almost three hours of trading.
